Seamus has specialised in coaching for the past 15 years, particularly using video assisted technologies. Now one of the GUI Ulster Branch main coaches, working with Ulster’s finest young golfers, Seamus has gained priceless experience from seminars with world renowned coaches – Butch Harmon and Peter Cowen.

Seamus undertook his initial training with Michael Doherty at City of Derry Golf Club and gained full professional status in 1988. The early part of Seamus’ career included an impressive record of tournament success on the Irish scene – with many ‘top ten’ finishes. This qualified Seamus for entry to the Irish Open and European Tour School on several occasions, and valuable sponsorship from Dunnes Stores during this period.
