Working with the GUI Ulster Branch since 1999 Seamus has help in developing Ulster’s finest young golfers. Teaching mainly in the north west of the province he has helped develop solid foundations for both Michael McGeady and Brian McElhinney who have moved on to become permanent fixtures on the Irish International Team.

GUI Ulster Branch Summer Coaching
The GUI Ulster Branch is currently taking entries for its summer coaching scheme – looking for boys under 15 years of age and under 15 handicap. This scheme was started to find young talent within the province at a younger age so as to provide them with the solid foundation they need.

Don’t be afraid to contact Seamus or the GUI Ulster Branch if you know of any boys not involved in the scheme. This coaching takes place in Ulster Branch main centre at Greenmount College Antrim.

Seamus is currently working with the Irish provincial coaches and renowned coach Peter Cowen in developing a blueprint for the future of Irish junior golf.

Letterkenny Golf Club and PGA Professional Seamus Duffy are offering Junior Boy & Girls a wonderful opportunity to take part in their New Junior Golf Ireland Coaching Programme, which has been designed for interested Junior Golfers who want to Start, Play and Develop the game of golf from the ages of 8-18 years old.

Junior Golf Ireland is a newly established body who will oversee the development of Junior Golf in Ireland, and is a partnership of Irish golf's three governing bodies, the Golfing Union of Ireland, the Irish Ladies' Golf Union and PGA Irish Region. The Junior Golf Ireland Coaching Programme is a newly designed structured coaching programme which enables junior golfers to learn all the basic fundamentals and techniques required to play the game of golf.
